New HCM legal employer not displayed in FDI when adding hierarchy from org hierarchy subject area

Hi,

Last December, my client added another legal employer in HCM. I've checked the hierachial tree, and this legal employer has a service, business unit, and pole attached.

However, when I tried to find this legal employer in FDI, I faced an issue :

If I filter the legal employer i want (biogenie) and add the department and business unit from the "common" subject area, it works fine.

BUT, if I do the same thing using the hierch org subject area and take the department (level 1 org name) and business unit (level 2 org name), it does not work…

Same if I add the "poles" (that we added as part of the data augmentation).

Could you please explain me why ?

    Hi @Lauriane Massin Whitaker,

The issue is a little hard to follow but one high level action plan from an existing KM article is:

    1. Run the "Refresh Manager Hierarchy" Process from FA UI with null parameter (empty value for number of days) .
    2. Once point #1 completes, the same process should be run with 0 parameter: (0 for number of days)
    3. The above steps should be scheduled to run every day. Once both the steps are completed, data pipeline should be run and then verify the report.

For more details about Refreshing Manager Hierarchy Process review below document

  • Hi @JohnW-Oracle ,

Thanks for your information. I'm a bit confused about the link between the org hierarchy and the manager hierarchy ? How come refreshing the manager hierarchy/assignments could solve an issue with the org hierarchy in itself displaying or not?

    Thanks :)

    Regards,

    Lauriane
