Some of the business users in my organisation have large lists of legal entities and cost centres they need to filter reports by. Currently, they are having to manually select each value one by one in a dashboard filter.

Is there a way to copy and paste multiple values into a dashboard filter (or similar) to filter the contents of a dashboard visualisation/report?

Hi @Rob Toogood Please also try the below approach and see if it helps.

Please prepare .csv or .xlsx file which contains one column as Legal Entity Name with distinct values as an example and remove any duplicate from Legal entity name column from the csv file or .xlsx file

Create a dataset and select local subject area ,select financials GL balance sheet from left hand side and from right hand side ,please double click on the subject area to select columns

Add legal entity name as shown below and click ok

Access Join diagram and add file and upload Legal entities names.csv file

Create Inner join

Save the dataset as legal entities Lov

Please create a workbook and select Legal entities Lov dataset and expand the dataset and add Legal entity name all values at filters section.My list having 359 legal entity names.

Add data and select financials gl balance sheet subject area to create a workbook and viz.
