New Feature from the idea lab in Oracle Analytics: Contextual Auto-Insights
Contextual Insights has been release in Oracle Analytics.
Auto-Insights is one of the preferred feature for many customers. Today we are happy to release Contextual Insights. Contextual Insights is allowing users to explain a variance or a specific segment in the context of their Data Visualization.
In the below example, I requested Oracle Analytics to explain me why the consumer product segment for Europe is only 5% of the sales. Auto-Insights is analyzing the dataset and explains me on context the drivers of this number, first by providing the breakdown by order priority, the trending by ship date and the breakdown by product container.
Note: To enable this feature, you need to activate it via the statistics option of the data visualization properties.
