Please introduce yourself to the community. Hi, I'm Daniel C. Mohan. I have recently joined as Principal Product Manager, Oracle Analytics, focusing on fostering engagement and collaboration among Oracle Community members. My background spans over 12 years in community management, analytics, and digital engagement. Previously, I worked with NVIDIA, where I managed one of India's largest gaming and growing developer communities. This experience has honed my ability to connect with audiences, drive innovation, and create impactful platforms for shared learnings
Tell us about your educational & professional background? I started my career at Scion Social, where I spent three years mastering social media strategy and campaign management. I then joined NVIDIA, where I served as Community Manager for over nine years, overseeing gaming and developer communities. During my tenure, I led initiatives that drove influencer activations, built a community of 1.5 million members, and fostered engagement through data-driven strategies. In 2021, I pursued Business Analytics at NMIMS to deepen my understanding of analytics and explore how data can create impactful community experiences. My journey so far has been about building vibrant ecosystems, but I see myself as a continuous learner, eager to apply and expand my knowledge to foster collaboration and innovation within communities.
What brought you to your new role at Oracle? Joining Oracle felt like the perfect next step for me. After an extensive experience in community management, I was drawn to Oracle's focus on innovation and its commitment to empowering users with industry-leading analytics tools. What truly resonated with me is Oracle's emphasis on fostering a collaborative global ecosystem where users from diverse industries come together to solve challenges and push boundaries. I saw this role as an incredible opportunity to not only contribute to that vision but also to grow by engaging with a vibrant and knowledgeable community.
What excites you the most about managing Oracle Analytics community? The sheer diversity and potential of the Oracle Community excite me. It's an incredible opportunity to work with data maestros from various industries and varied career levels who are united by their passion for analytics.
What is your vision for Oracle Analytics community? My vision for the Oracle Analytics Community is to make this community the go-to hub for analytics professionals, where everyone from beginners to experts can come together. I aim to focus on fostering meaningful discussions, promoting peer-to-peer learning, and ensuring the community becomes a resource for solving real-world challenges. I'd like to see it evolve as a vibrant ecosystem where the brightest minds in analytics actively share knowledge, best practices, and celebrate each other's success stories.
