Multi-File Upload and Scheduled Refresh for FDI Analytics Data

I would like to connect a series of large (multi-tab) excel files saved in a SharePoint folder to an existing Data Flow (to perform various analytics against dashboard data located in FDI subject areas and connections).
What would be the most straightforward way to connect this SharePoint data and establish weekly refreshes?
The Oracle docs link below appears to point towards a potential starting point, and I am curious if anyone uses these steps in their approach:
