FDI OAC OOTB - EPM data source

Wanted to propose an enhancement in FDI OOTB to include EPM as a source and include OOTB reports for finance users.

We have finance users who consumes data from Fusion ERP via FDI as well as EPM via reporting cubes, It would be good to include EPM subject areas in FDI OOTB as well as allow connectivity to include EPM as a data source itself so that users can get leverage FDI as consolidated platform for reporting.

FDI has an EPM Connector that allows customers to bring the data from EPM into FDI. Depending the use case, customers can create Custom Subject areas.

Yes we have. However based on my past experience with one of the client performance of a simple report created using EPM cloud connector is not good. This was 1 year back. Has the performance of this connector improved now. Kindly let me know.

@Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle for loading EPM data, once we create the connection. we create a new pipeline, semantic model extension and create custom subject areas ?

To load the EPM Data into FDI, they can use the connector to land the data into FDI ADW.

To use it in reporting, we can use the Semantic Model Extension to model it and create reports.
