Created Dimension Alias using Create button from Fusion > Data Augmentation.

Row created as below and semantic model status is in Queued since more than 24 hours and Pipeline Status also not updated.

Just want to know do we need to activate or run this exclusively? if so please guide me with steps to follow.

The highlighted Augmentation Name is actually a Dimension Alias, as indicated by the Type field. When you create aliases, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence does not copy data for dimension aliases. These augmentations do not have a pipeline status, which is expected behavior.

For Dimension Alias Data Augmentation, remaining in a queued status is also expected behavior.

Steps to Resolve the Issue:

To overcome this, create another Data Augmentation that references the Dimension Alias. Once the newly created Data Augmentation (DA) completes, the Dimension Alias DA in queued status will also complete, and the alias table will be created in the backend warehouse.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Sign in to your service.
2. In Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse Console, navigate to Application Administration > Data Configuration.
3. On the Data Configuration page, under Configurations, click Data Augmentation.
4. On the Data Augmentation page, click Create, then select Augmentation.
5. Choose Fact or Extend Entity, then proceed with the next steps until Step 4.
6. In Step 5 (Dimension Keys), under Select a Dimension, choose the Dimension Alias Name created as part of Dimension Alias Data Augmentation.
7. In Step 6 (Schedule and Save):
   • Fill in the Name, Description, Table Suffix, and Subject Areas.
   • Under Schedule, select Run Now and click Finish.
8. Once this Data Augmentation completes, the Dimension Alias DA in queued status will also complete, and the alias table will be created in the warehouse. The table will then be reflected in the selected subject area.
