Austin Texas Crime Visualizations with Proximity to local schools.
This visualization displays Austin Texas Crime statistics with proximity to local schools. A map layer displaying both the schools and crimes is available as well as a heat map of crimes. Daily counts of crimes using Calendar plugin shows trends in crime counts. A bar chart divided by crime location categories displays actual crime counts versus projected using OAC Auto Insights. Photoshop image boundaries of Austin are added for display. 🚓

I always like when I see an heatmap! I would say, a satellite map background might make it even better!

Yes, a Satellite background looks great, i did one with points and shapes. An option to switch background layer would be great.
