Gender Discrepancies in the Workplace


My dashboard, titled “Gender Discrepancies in the Workplace”, highlights some strong differences between representation of men and women in the workplace. Using the HCM Employee Attributes data, I was able to quickly identify clear disparities in income, job satisfaction, and more.
This data reveals that while women tend to hold higher positions in their respective fields and receive stronger performance reviews, they report lower job satisfaction, earn less on average per month, and receive lower hourly wages than their male counterparts. Additionally, despite having higher levels of education, women remain underrepresented across all departments in their company.
How is it fair that in 2025, women are still being treated with less respect than men, despite clear evidence of their capabilities and contributions? I hope that this dashboard tells an important story and sparks meaningful conversations on closing the gender pay gap and ensuring women receive the respect and equality they deserve.
