How do I preserve parameter visibility settings when migrating BI Publisher reports to a new server?

I was working with Oracle BI Publisher and I came upon this problem:
In the Report Editor page, there's a Parameters dialog where you can choose to show or hide specific parameters in a report by checking or unchecking a boxes in the 'Show' column.
Let's say I check the first 2 parameters and uncheck the third, I call it the "original visibility setting" on a report. Now if I move my BI Publisher reports to a new server, all parameter checkboxes are automatically set to be checked, meaning all parameters will become visible - including ones I originally had unchecked.
My question is: How can I ensure that the original visibility settings for parameters on reports are preserved when migrating BI Publisher reports to a new server?

I used Download / Upload and your issue did not replicate.

Migrating reports and data models should not change the objects.
I tested using Download / Upload and the show parameter settings were retained in the copy.
How are you migrating data models and reports?

Sorry, I forgot to add: when I said "move my BI Publisher reports to a new server", I meant to move the reports from Oracle BI Publisher 11g to a new server in OAS. I've tried to import the report's zip file and upload it directly into OAS but the original visibility setting is all reset for some reason

How did you generate the reports zip file in 11g?
How did you import the zip file to OAS?

I exported them manually from BI Publisher and got .xdoz files, I made sure to even check the zip file right after that and the visibility was set as I expected
Then I imported some of them as a test to OAS and when I checked, all the parameters visibility was set to 'true'. I'm not sure how did this happen
