We have an oracle database in another tenancy than the one where our FDI is. Could we create a connection to that database from FDI? The target is private DB
@MQasim - Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community.
Currently, connecting to a private Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) through the Manage Connections feature in Oracle Analytics to load data into Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)'s ADW is not supported. Specifically, establishing a connection to a private Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) database is not available at this time.

Additionally, connecting from FDI's Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to a private database for creating visualizations using PAC is not supported. The Private Access Channel (PAC) feature is not available in the Oracle Analytics Cloud instance managed by the Oracle Analytics Warehouse server.

However, RDG method works.

Thank you for participating in the Oracle Analytics Community. Continued use of the community for future queries and discussions is encouraged.
Hope this helps!
Thank you @Sumanth V -Oracle - useful information
Are there any plans to allow the connection from FDI
FDI's Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to a private database for creating visualizations using PAC? I was told that there is already and idea lab created and it is in works. Do you have the expected date when it would be available?
