How to Replace GL Account Analysis Columns with Configurable Account Analysis Columns in Workbooks

We have several workbooks with reports that use columns from GL Account Analysis, both the out of the box subject area and a custom data set. In the CAA documentation, it states :
- The existing visualizations and workbooks set up based on the GL Account Analysis or Account Analysis Foundations subject areas aren't redirected to CAA. You must manually set them up using the Configurable Account Analysis subject area.
Is there a way to point these GL Account Analysis columns to a comparable CAA column without manually replacing them? It would be a huge lift for us to go into each report and make sure all columns are replaced with the corresponding CAA column. Plus we will have to train users on how to do this on their unshared reports. Is there a recommendation on how to do this migration?
Thanks,
Molly

Hi @Molly P,
It looks like you posted this a while ago and did not get a response.
The documentation you mentioned is still the primary source of migration information and it does document a manual process.
This is supplemented with KM Article number: KB171076
