Rehired user getting created as a duplicate user in ERP.

When a user that has been terminated is rehired, it creates a duplicate user in ERP for them with the same user ID but a different assignment number. This behavior is new and is causing issues for the import because it looks for a valid Manager and users have the original Manager assignment number instead of the new one that is created, so it claims invalid Manager information.

In this community, we address FDI issues. Once the issue is resolved in the Fusion Cloud ERP source, you should not have the issue on the Warehouse side in FDI.
If you do, look at the Assignment End Date, Employee Number and Termination Date and compare to what you see in the source.
