Hi Team,

Ability to chain data flows together in FDI will be vey helpful. The ability to call one data flow from another will help ensure any prerequisties data flows are successfully run. If an data flow does not run successfully provide the ability to the user to either abort the process or still continue.

The ability to chain data flows together—i.e., allowing one data flow to invoke another—would be highly beneficial. This functionality would help in building more modular and maintainable data pipelines, where each data flow can represent a distinct stage or dependency.

Chaining would ensure that prerequisite data flows are successfully executed before downstream flows begin. In scenarios where a preceding data flow fails, it would be extremely useful to have configurable control options—for instance:

→ Abort the process if the failure is critical and should block further execution.

→ Continue execution with downstream flows if the failure is non-critical or has been accounted for.

Providing such flexibility will enable users to handle dependencies and exceptions more effectively, leading to more robust and automated data processes.
