Assistance Needed: "Failed - IO Error" When Customizing Standard Report in Oracle Fusion

I’m encountering a “Failed - IO Error” when attempting to customize a standard report in Oracle Fusion.

After exploring the community forums, I found that this issue is often related to permissions. However, I’ve already verified that I have all the necessary roles and permissions mentioned in the discussions, but the issue still persists.

Could anyone who has faced and resolved this issue kindly provide some guidance?

Hi Momen,

Can you please check show hidden folder under /Custom and see if they folder structure /Custom/Purchasing already exists? Second, you mentioned you are able to access Purchasing folder, is it under /Custom or /Shared ?

You need to make sure that your user has access to /Custom/Purchasing folder.

Thanks for the details.

As a work around you can create the same folder structure under 'Custom' folder and then copy the components manually.

Also please check if any other OOTB Report from other different location is having same issue with the same user.

It seems you have to raise it with Oracle Support to get their expert suggestions & the probable root cause behind why it is throwing error?

The issue is affecting the entire team, not just me. I also have the 'BI Admin' role and access to the relevant folder, which is Purchasing. The report in question is Purchase Order PDF Report.

We have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but without success:

* Cleared browser cache and cookies, and restarted the browser.
* Followed the solution outlined in Doc ID 2785818.1.
