Oracle Fusion Analytics (Fusion Analytics), a part of the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Platform, is a family of prebuilt, cloud-native analytics applications for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications that provide ready-to-use insights to help improve decision-making. It’s extensible and customizable, allowing customers to ingest data and expand the base semantic model with additional content.

In addition to the pre-built content FDI offers in each pillar, we have an ongoing effort to provide more reusable artifacts for FDI customers which is outlined in detailed in this blog.

In this post we are sharing the workbooks that are currently available for you to download, along with the steps to use and adapt these artifacts.

List of available workbooks based out of the common subject areas:

FDI Usage Tracking Analysis – to get various insights into usage trends and patterns within FDI

User, Group and Application Role Mapping – Compare users, groups and get detailed view of security group and application role mapping. Ensure to load the dataset with data from your instance. The first information canvas has all the details.

NOTE: The workbooks based out of the common subject areas are primarily to be used by Administrators for managing and examining the instance and not for the business users/puropse.

Step to use these artifacts:

  1. Download the workbook DVA files
  2. Import the DVA file into your FDI instance (the DVA files have no passwords)
  3. Review the workbook content, make any changes as needed, and set the appropriate filters
  4. Perform basic sanity checks to ensure data validity before you roll out workbooks to business users and analysts.

While we work to add more workbooks to the list, we’d love to get your feedback and business use cases to help build a more comprehensive FDI repository of useful reusable artifacts.
