New Video Release: FDI – Semantic Model Extensions: Migrate to the Sandbox Framework

We're thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our Oracle Analytics video series:
FDI – Semantic Model Extensions: Migrate to the Sandbox Framework 🎥
This video walks you through:
- Pre-migration tasks
- Migration scheduling
- Post-migration validations
- Common challenges
- Best practices for smooth migration
⚙️ Key Migration Guidance
If your Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) instance uses the Sandbox framework, you can refer to the standard guidance for extending semantic models using Sandbox.
However, if your FDI instance still uses the Branch framework, it’s important to plan a migration to Sandbox, as Branch is scheduled for deprecation in a future release.
📌 See: Migrate to the Sandbox Framework for Semantic Model Extensions
Environment Consideration:
If your production and non-production environments (development/test) are on different frameworks, for example:
- Production is on Sandbox, and
- Dev/Test are still on Branch
Make sure to migrate all instances to the Sandbox framework (recommended)
