Automating Email Recipient Updates in Oracle Fusion HCM BI Publisher: Seeking Community Insights

Hello Oracle Community,

Problem Statement:

We frequently receive multiple tickets from the business requesting updates to the email/distribution list recipient list in BI Publisher reports. This manual process of updating /editing email recipients for scheduled reports in Oracle Fusion HCM BI Publisher is inefficient and prone to errors.

To streamline this process, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational accuracy, we are planning to implement automation using an API call or any other method

This automation will allow updates to be made without the need to log into the BI Publisher report analytics, thereby improving efficiency and reducing the likelihood of errors.

Objectives:

To automate the updating of email recipients for scheduled reports in Oracle Fusion HCM BI Publisher,we are following the HCM API documentation available at: Oracle HCM API Documentation. However, we have been unable to find the necessary API details.

We would greatly appreciate any guidance or insights from the community on identifying the appropriate API call to update email recipients. Your expertise and experience would be invaluable in helping us streamline this process.

At the moment, i don't think there is a way to do this using BI APIs.

But i implore you to explore the available BI APIs in Fusion and the functionalities it provides here :

This is not supported currently. Please raise an idea in the idea lab and encourage others to vote for this idea so that it can be prioritized by Oracle team.,
