Fix the .xls output limitation of 65k rows for Oracle BI Reports

Please address the .xls output limitation to 65K rows.

As an ERP Cloud Report user

I need to have excel reports use the newer versions of excel if possible - XLSX so that I can get more than 65k rows of data and bypass the limitation for report output data.

Can you save and upload Template as .xlsx (Excel 2007+)

When designing your report:

Use BI Publisher Desktop Plugin with Excel.
Save your layout as an .xlsx file.
- File → Save As → Choose Excel Workbook (.xlsx)
Upload this layout to your BI Publisher Report.
Under Output Format, choose Excel (xlsx) instead of Excel.
- In Oracle terms:
  - Excel = .xls (65k row limit)
  - Excel (xlsx) = .xlsx (1 million+ rows)
