Inventory Receipts Deprecation

Hi All,

We have an important announcement regarding the deprecation of specific features for Fusion SCM customers.

What feature is being deprecated?

Subject Area: SCM - Inventory Receipts: This subject area provides information related to inventory receipts for RMA (Return Material Authorization), Transfer Orders, and In-transit Inter-organization Shipments.

Why the deprecation? Is there a replacement?

We have enhanced this subject area, which now includes data related to RMA and Transfer Orders. The enhancements allow for the integration of data from all sources of receipts, including in-transit shipments and inter-organizational shipments. The redesigned subject area is now available after activation of the “Inventory Receipts” opt-in feature from the “Enable Features” console.

What actions should I take?

Please be aware that Oracle will discontinue populating the tables in the existing subject area in one of the upcoming releases which would result in erroneous data in your reports. We request that you enable the Inventory Receipts functional area as soon as possible. After activating the functional area, please follow these steps:

1. Update all existing reports related to SCM - Inventory Receipts. Remove the columns associated with Lot and Serial from the Presentation Folder, as well as the Metrics from Facts - Inventory Receipts. After that, drag and drop them back from the respective folders.

2. Review any customizations related to Lot, Serial, and Metrics within Facts - Inventory Receipts and update them as necessary.

3. Validate the reports and migrate them to higher environments.

If you are not utilizing these features and have already migrated to the Inventory Receipts (opt-in feature), no action is required.

Do you have additional information regarding the changes?
