Changing Child Item Class to be Parent

Dear Community,

I have an issue while creating item classes, where I created "TRADING" item class as a child of "FINISHED GOODS" item class. Meanwhile, TRADING should not have dependency against FINISHED GOOD item class or "TRADING" should be Parent Item Class. Is there capability to solve this?

If there is no dependency then you should not model it as a Child of FINISHED GOODS as the Child inherits Parent properties, especially when accessing and using data.
