I just published a blog that explores how the Oracle Analytics AI-driven column name beautification feature impacts more than just readability. Automating the transformation of cryptic system labels into clear, business-ready terms helps business analysts understand the contents of each column and makes dashboards easier to interpret. In this new era of AI, preparing datasets with clear, meaningful column names is even more important — it directly influences how the AI Assistant interprets questions and delivers accurate, useful answers. The post walks through a practical scenario and highlights why investing in better column names pays dividends for both human users and AI-driven insights.

Note: The ability to bulk rename column headers was also a highly requested idea in IdeaLab, so glad this is now in production with the added benefit of AI Assistance.
