Custom Group calculation isn't subtotaling in pivot table

My Group calculation of JE Classification is working fine to group things together, but the subtotal function is bringing back the first value instead of summing it. The Group calculation is set as Text type, but i don't see any method to change that, and really it is text. Any way I can get this to display with a summed subtotal?

Thanks Daniel! As an FDI newbie I did not find that panel easily, but that was the fix. Appreciate the help!

Always check the obvious things first. On the properties tab of the grammar panel for this visual, is the aggregation for this measure set to Auto? Can you change it to SUM?
