Cross-Subject Area Drill Functionality in FDI Reports using OOTB CAA Subject Area

Request:

Add support for cross-subject area drilling (CAA → AP ) in FDI, linked by Invoice Number, in future releases. This will directly address current gaps in reporting agility and data exploration, ultimately enhancing the value proposition of FDI for business users.

We are currently developing reports in FDI, leveraging the Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) CAA Subject Area. A critical need has emerged to enable seamless drill-through from the OOTB CAA Subject Area to the OOTB AP Subject Area, specifically utilizing the Invoice Number as the linking attribute. However, the expected drill functionality is not operational.

An SR (4-0001063899) was previously raised; following investigation, it was confirmed that this feature is not currently supported, and guidance was provided to submit an Enhancement Request.

Business Need & Value:
This Enhancement Request proposes the addition of cross-subject area drill capability in upcoming releases, specifically enabling users to drill from CAA to AP reports via Invoice Number.

By enabling this drill functionality:
