Recently we have started seeing the below notification in FDI-
"This frequent data refresh capability is planned to be deprecated in an upcoming future release."
In case if we don't update it to version, what would be the impact.
Regards
I agree, there might be none, but someone need to talk to the Oracle Account Manager and make sure there is nothing, just to avoid any surprises later. Hope it helps!
The longer you delay, more complex it will be later.
Is there a reason for your organization to not update?
Hi @RVohra , thanks for the answer, we are trying to evaluate the Pros and cons of this update.

Hi @RVohra
This makes sense.
Although I don't understand what limitations our license could have, we had implemented FDI in Feb-25.
On this topic - my organisation is in the same situation.
The thing stopping us at present is the frequency - currently in FDR V1, we update 20 tables hourly to ensure we have up to date information over finance month end close period - to capture the latest adjustment journals being posted.
From what I have read so far - FDR V2 only allows up to 4 reloads per day? Is this going to change? Hourly refresh is more or less essential for our use case.
As per Schedule Frequent Data Refreshes
For customers with subscriptions ordered on or after September 1, 2025, there are some restrictions for FDR V2:
Rob, it will be good idea to contact Oracle Rep and get it sorted out now.
From how many refreshes now to how many refreshes per day after the update can we change this?
The suggestion from oracle is that atleast 180 mins of gap should be their in FDR v1
You can specify data to be refreshed at specific times in a day; up to a maximum of three time per day. For example, you could set refreshes at 10AM, 2PM, and 5PM because that's when you want the intra-day data to be refreshed.
Is it possible to get more refreshes frequency?
