Currently within FDI data connections, password validation does not occur until the pipeline runs and fails. There is a manual workaround to test the connection when a new password is entered, however relying on this manual process means there is a risk of it being missed & having pipelines not run.
This process should happen automatically & flag to the user when an incorrect password has been entered.
