Provide Attribute Level configuration to Configurable Account Analysis (CAA)
Problem Description:
Currently we can configure Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) at subledger level only.
But companies like Lowe's use Fusion Accounting Hub, where we use custom-subledgers. Because the journals are created external to ERP, we create Lowe's-journal-id, which is differen't than Fusion-journal-id.
So, in order to track the releation between a transaction to journal, just like CAA, we created a custom data set just like CAA, which tracks Lowe's-journal-id, Fusion-journal-id, and the transaction details from each sub ledger.
The creation and maintenance of this customization is a big overhead currently in terms of human resources as well as compute resources.
Proposal:
If CAA allow's to select attributes also from each subledgers, customers like us can select what we want and can completely avoid creation of additional custom-data-sets for referencing relation between custom-journal-id, Fusion-journal-id, and the transaction details from each sub ledger.
Benefit:
- This will facilitate avoiding customizations for creation and maintenance of custom-data-sets.
- Improve the overall refresh timings.
- Reduces the overhead of maintenance activities to be performed after each quarterly upgrade.
