How to replace "No results. The specified criteria (...) any data." with a customized tile?

Hi,

I have a dashboard with 2 prompts filtering by asset state and location in one section and multiple small analysis in another section that show different type of models. Here below a dummy example with 4 tiles (each tile is one analysis and they all are in one section):

280 15 170 95
Notebook Large Notebook Large Notebook Large Notebook Large
———————- > ————————— ————————- —————————
Group Notebook Large Model 1 Model 2 Model 3

The final result should be (possibly), many analysis built the same way (4 to 5 tiles in one section) in one page of the same Dashboard.

Challenge: When one of these tiles show "no results", we get an error message like this one below:

"No Results
The specified criteria didn't result in any data. This is often caused by applying filters and/or selection steps that are too restrictive or that contain incorrect values. Please check your analysis filters and selection steps, and try again. The filters or selection steps currently being applied are shown below."

In my current OBIEE version I can't use a "No result" view and I would prefer not to separate these analysis into different sections (we will have many analysis organized the same way as the first screenshot and separating each analysis into different sections is hard to maintain).

I tried to use a "Narrative" view but I do not have a "custom css" option to make my tile look better and I am still getting the same error message "No results".

Any suggestions on how to build similar tiles that show a "0" if no rows/results exist, instead of the error message "No results"?

I thank you in advance for your support.

Cordially

Lara

Question solved (OBIEE Version 12c): open your analysis > click "results" > click the icon "Edit Analysis properties" > under "Results display" select "display custom message" and write a statement with the message needed > select the check box "Contains HTML"> Then "OK"
