Hi Oracle Community,

I am currently researching the Oracle AI Data Platform solution. While reviewing recent materials released between December 2025 and January 2026, I noticed some inconsistencies in the user interface (UI) and labeling across different demonstration videos.

Specifically, there appear to be two distinct interface versions:

• Interface A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gBpK4g-Sr4• Header: Displays the text “Workbench” in the top-left corner.

• Side Menu: The bell icon is labeled as “Alert”.

• Interface B: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ6n5jTAkmI• Header: The “Workbench” text is missing from the top-left corner.

• Side Menu: The bell icon is labeled as “Notification” instead of “Alert”.

My questions are:

• Do these two interfaces represent the same AI Data Platform Workbench, or are they separate modules/products?

• If they are the same product, which interface represents the latest or standard version for the current release (as of Jan 2026)?

• Are there specific configuration steps or roles that trigger these UI differences?

Any insights or documentation clarifying these changes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

  • @User_PH7HJ , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community!

Oracle’s cloud services especially rapidly evolving ones like AI Data Platform Workbench often undergo incremental UI refinements with new release updates. These updates tend to

    Change label text
    Move or rename UI elements
    Adjust icons and header text

This doesn’t imply different products; it just implies a UI evolution between versions.

Looking at the videos, both differences are cosmetic UX changes that don’t change the underlying capabilities.

  • As per latest oracle doc, Interface B (with “Notification”) is more consistent with the latest standard UI as described in the January 2026 documentation.
