It will be good if we can preview the file within the UI interface if the file format is in excel, csv, text files in Volumes, Tables
Hi @InsightSeeker-Oracle that's a good suggestion, is this as a sense check that you've uploaded the correct document?
When adding a file into a Volume, there is lots of space in the UI currently where a small window preview could be useful here.
When adding Tables, I know you already have the ability to preview what the managed table will look like, based on the data you have uploaded by selecting "preview data" button.
@philipgodfrey Yes I am looking to do a quick sense check of what I uploaded is the correct document. Yes , this available for tables , but not for volumes section.
Thanks for clarifying @InsightSeeker-Oracle - I think it would be a useful addition :)
Good suggestion and allows for easy visual way to check file to be processed
It'll be a great feature to have.

Right now to access agents, I click on "Agents", to access workflow, I click on "Workflow". But to access Notebooks, I need to click on my workspace name "DD_Product…". I think it would make more sense and easier for the users to find their workbooks under a "Notebooks" before the "Workflows" icon.
Currently, an Oracle AI Data Platform catalogue is associated with a single connection. This can constrain how the catalogue represents logical data layers or domains that span multiple physical data sources. For example, a logical Bronze layer may contain raw data in OCI Object Storage alongside data held in Oracle…
Today, AI Data Platform (AIDP) supports mounting external catalogs such as Oracle, Snowflake, and MySQL as governable Master Catalog assets. This idea proposes extending that capability to Unity Catalog and Apache Iceberg catalogs. As lakehouse architectures continue to become prevalent for enterprise analytics and AI…
