FAIDP Semantic model column renaming / alias

We need to change FAIDP column names to match the terminology used in the project.

Currently the options are:
A - Changing the display labels in OAC: This is useful for end users but the authors still see the out of the box column names .
B- Creating a new subject area based on the out of the box one. This allows renaming but release updates are not automatically cascaded into the new subject area, the maintenance overhead can be prohibitive.
C - Renaming the columns with external RPD merge.

We are looking for an option D) that would allow us to rename the subject areas similar to option C) but directly in the FAIDP console.

Ideally, this would be handled as name/alias pairs so the original column name is always available for reference.
