Spend Transaction Data from the data samples provided on the 2026 DataViz Challenge.

2. How did you analyze or prepare the data?

I used the Auto Insights feature to quickly build a dashboard using key metrics I use to analyze Operational Procurement spend from an Supply Chain Management perspective.

3. Who is the intended audience for your visualization?

The intended audience includes procurement managers, finance leadership, and category owners responsible for supplier strategy and budget oversight

4. What is your visualization about, and what question or problem does it address?

The goal is to support data-driven sourcing decisions by identifying high-spend categories, supplier dependency risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and supplier diversification.

5. Did you use any Oracle Analytics AI features when building your visualization (ex. AI Assistant)? If so, please describe how they were used.

Yes, I wanted to quickly pull in key metrics used when analyzing supplier performance and spend analytics.

Strong analysis & the Viz - the 80/20 breakdown is clear and the supplier insights are presented really well. The combination of totals, averages, and percentage views makes the insights easy to interpret.
