1. Which dataset did you use?
NASA Exoplanet Archive (PSCompPars)
2. How did you analyze or prepare the data?
I retrieved the data
Joined the files in OAC's data tool, reviewed the data profile and used Explain to uncover drivers.
3. Who is the intended audience for your visualization?
Fans of Space, Science and the search for 'other Earths'
4. What is your visualization about, and what question or problem does it address?
Shows the impact that NASA's Kepler space telescope had on the discovery and understanding of exoplants in our universe, how it impacted methods and means of understanding potential habitable planets; as a precursor to the James Web Space Telescope (JWST)
5. Did you use any Oracle Analytics AI features when building your visualization (ex. AI Assistant)? If so, please describe how they were used
I used Explain to provide an initial view of the data pulled from the web source. Clusters/Outliers was used to help determine if the data needed further filtering.
6. Did you upload your visualization image and dva file?
Completed!
note I had trouble posting this earlier, so an email was sent to submit for the '26 Challenge
