Currently it is only possible to connect SmartView to a single domain. This enables EPM users to connect to all their applications via one connection however if you wish to view data or reports across domains then this is not currently possible.
As SmartView can connect to ERP, EPM and OAC, all of which sit in separate domains, it would be useful to be able to connect to all these domains simultaneously so organisations can build a single document with data or reports sourced from all these systems, giving a holistic view of trends and real-time imperatives in one place.
There is a clear use case for this with the FAIDP incorporating OTBI subject areas in 26B and MS Office integration for OTBI and Analytics is often a key blocker for user adoption so will be a huge help.
