Upcoming Enhancement: Organization Goals Now Included in Reporting
We’re enhancing Goals reporting to provide greater visibility, accuracy, and accountability for Organization Goals.
What we have today ?
Today, when a manager (or any user) creates and publishes an Organization Goal, it doesn’t appear in reporting for the goal creator and doesn’t contribute to the creator’s goal counts/metrics.
If an employee aligns to an Organization Goal, today is it being reported for the employee?
Yes. Once an employee aligns their goal to the Organization Goal, today it is being reportable for the employee and is included in the employee’s goal counts/metrics.
Today, will the Organization Goal appear under “Aligned Goals” for the employee?
Yes. Today, we can see the goal under “Aligned Goals”, since alignment creates that association.
What’s improving?
With this enhancement, published Organization Goals will be available for reporting—so goal creators (for example, managers or HR) can see, track, and report on the goals they publish, and those goals can also be included in the creator’s goal counts/metrics.
New reporting attributes being introduced
To help customers easily identify and manage published goal records, we’re adding:
- Published Indicator (Yes/No): Identifies whether a goal is a published goal
- Published Date: Captures the date/time the goal was published
Where and when is this delivered?
- Goals Management functional area: 26.0.0 (by 8-Apr-2026)
- HCM – Goals and Career Development subject area: 26.4.0 (by 13-May-2026)
What to expect by customers
For customers with Organization Goals enabled, additional goal records will begin flowing into the warehouse with release 26.0.0 (by 8-Apr-2026).
The attributes needed to clearly identify these records (Published Indicator and Published Date) will be available with release 26.4.0 (by 13-May-2026).
What you may notice temporarily
Between 8-Apr-2026 and 13-May-2026, some customers may see an increase in Performance Goals counts, driven by the newly reportable Organization Goal records.
Once 26.4.0 is available, customers can use the new attributes to differentiate these records and align counts with their reporting needs.
Call to Action
Customers are encouraged to review the updated data volumes and goal counts, and once the new attributes are available in release 26.4.0, apply the appropriate filters as needed to align reporting with their requirements.
NOTE: Given the criticality and business impact of this data, we have backported the content changes to release 26.1.1. As a result, these attributes will be available for reporting in the HCM - Goals and Career Development subject area starting with 26.1.1, ahead of the previously planned 26.4.0 release.
