When using the SmartView Oracle BI EE extension, you can open any OTBI and OAC Classic dashboard. It would be good to have the option to be able to export a dashboard in Query Ready Mode, the same as you can in FRC so that users can start in the web view and seamlessly move to Excel. This would also enable authors to share the Excel files with users who wish to access reports directly.
The benefit of this will be:
Less objection of having to use Power BI for any worthwhile reporting in Excel
Improved user interaction from those who want an Excel Interface
Better awareness of full reporting capabilities across the suite
Less utilisation of system resource as there will be reduced need to extract data to 3rd party systems.
