FDI Licensing Clarification: External Users, Third-Party Data Sources, and Public-Facing Analytics

I am looking for clarification on Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) licensing for the following scenario.

Scenario

An existing FDI customer would like to:

* Build custom data pipelines to ingest data from external sources (e.g., Salesforce, custom applications, and other third-party systems).
* Extend analytics access to users associated with those external applications.
* Publish a subset of reports and dashboards for public, internet-facing consumption.

Questions

* Public-Facing Dashboards

Is there a specific FDI license, add-on, or entitlement required to make selected FDI reports and dashboards publicly accessible over the internet (Customer currently owns standard FDI named user licenses)?
* Licensing for External Application Users

One of the customer's custom applications has more than 50,000 named users. If data from this application is incorporated into FDI and analytics are made available to those users:* Would the customer need to acquire additional FDI named-user licenses for all 50,000 users?
* Alternatively, is there a processor-, OCPU-, or consumption-based licensing option available for this use case?

Any guidance or references to Oracle licensing documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and is integrated with many infrastructure services. It is a family of prebuilt, cloud native analytics applications for Oracle Cloud Applications that provides line-of-business users with prebuilt insights to improve decision-making.

If you extract, integrate, or share Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence data to any external system, you need to be licensed by the employee metric for the specific module. For example, if you've Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics (employee metric) and Oracle Fusion ERP Analytics data (user metric) you can only share Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics data. You may need to contact your Oracle Account Representative to update your licensing terms.

Thanks, Mike, for the response.

This will be very helpful for my customers who plan to publish a few FDI dashboards and reports on their public portal for general access. It means they can do so without incurring any additional FDI subscription costs.

I assume the FDI Operations team will also manage any required capacity scaling to handle peak usage periods—for example, quarterly spikes when a customer publishes financial results dashboards or reports linked from their public website, which could attract thousands of public internet users.

There are no specific licensing options for making content public, and the July release of OAC is introducing, in LA the ability to make content publicly available.
