Authentication Failure for ExternalReportWSSService with Username Token

Question

Anyone facing issue with calling the https://xxxanalytics-[tenant]-ia.analytics.ocp.oraclecloud.com/xmlpserver/services/ExternalReportWSSService?wsdl with runReport operation with WSS-Username Token after recent upgrade with OAC ?

The Basic Authenticaiton works  from SOAPUI , however the WSS-Username Token does not work and shows Authorization Failure.

It was working with WSS-Username Token

With an OAC instance which is not yet upgraded , the WSS-Username Token works.

@Pradosh "not supported" doesn't mean something doesn't exist. As Publisher is available in various places, embedded and connected to various products, there are definitely pieces of code that are in every Publisher, but then a feature can be supported or not.

It's the same for a number of products, not just Publisher.

If support said it isn't supported, it means that all this time you were the sole responsible for it, and in case of issues Oracle wasn't going to help you. And this is just the situation you got yourself into now. You have been using something that wasn't officially supported: all good till it works, but it can stop working at any point and you need to handle the consequences.

Additionally if you take a look at the following Oracle Blog - https://blogs.oracle.com/machinelearning/accessing-analytics-publisher-reports-through-oml-notebooksError published on 30th Jun 2025, the blog uses the ExternalReportWSSService for OAC.
