Assistance Required to Verify Data Load in FDI for connecting the BI Publisher report

Question

The BI Publisher dataset DW_BIP_X_VACANT_POSITION_BIP has been successfully activated and deployed through a Data Config Bundle in FDI. Semantic Model publish completed successfully, however the augmentation still shows Semantic Model Status = Not Available.

Could anyone please  confirm how this dataset should be registered in Semantic Model Extensions and exposed to FDI Analytics?

Thanks for the reply, that's a good suggestion. I created a sandbox and checked the Perform Action options, however I only see Manage Logical Star, Manage Subject Areas, and Manage Variables. I don't see an option to attach or import DW_BIP_X_VACANT_POSITION_BIP. I also checked Manage Logical Star, but the dataset is not available there either. At the moment, DW_BIP_X_VACANT_POSITION_BIP is not visible under System Extensions, External Applications, or the sandbox, and the Semantic Model Status still shows "Not Available".It looks like the Data Augmentation has been created and deployed successfully, but the dataset hasn't been registered in the semantic model yet. I need help in how to expose the augmentation dataset to the semantic layer.

Hello,

Did you create a Semantic Model Extension for this dataset, or did you stop at activating the Data Config Bundle?

I think the answer is there (I'm not 100% sure, but you can try): Console > Semantic Model Extensions > User Extensions > Create Sandbox, then attach DW_BIP_X_VACANT_POSITION_BIP via Perform Action, before merging to the Main Sandbox and republishing. That could explain the "Not Available" status.
