Hello Experts,
I am having issue while working with HCM - Workforce Core in which I am using Person Number and Department Name. The value getting is not in line with the data in my fusion environment.
Please guide what I am missing.
26C.
Hi @SaurabhPSingh
Add the metric 'Headcount' to this report.
Also, can you explain what do you mean by this below statement with a screenshot
'The value getting is not in line with the data in my fusion environment.'
Thanks
Raghu
Hi @SaurabhPSingh ,
As per your screenshot, it seems you have not applied any filters. This would mean you are pulling all person numbers, not just your currently active workers.
Hi @Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle ,
I meant the output is showing very few employees as compared to my data available for Person Number and department. I am not sure why this issue is appearing. Adding Headcount gives below result
@Orange : There is no filter applied and I am expecting all Person Number and department name in the output.
Regards
Saurabh
Hi @SaurabhPSingh Can you add 'Headcount' metric to this query
This is the result after adding Headcount to the query.
Weird, it is showing only 5 rows. Thinking is it something to do with some security.
Hi @SaurabhPSingh Yes, this is got to do with your security setup, You can run similar queries in other subject areas also to see if the data rendered is consistent.
It is the same behaviour on for all the subject areas. As far as roles in Oracle Fusion environment , I have almost all the HCM roles. I have no issue in running my OTBI report.
But here in Analytics Cloud, I am having issue.
Can you guide me to the items that needs to be checked from security to run these in Analytics Cloud ? I will check with OCI team if possible.
Hi @SaurabhPSingh it depends on what data security that you have in FDI. You need to let us know which groups you have access to? and what application roles you have
From the Security screen > User tab - filter for your user name
you get the groups to which you have access
using that filter for the group in the Groups tab - filter for all the data roles
As an alternative, provide yourself with 'Human Resource Analyst' group in FDI and re-test the same reports

Hello Oracle Team, Many organizations currently rely on both Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) for reporting and analytics. While FDI continues to expand its subject area coverage, there are still several OTBI subject areas that are not yet available in FDI. Could…
We want a better grasp on what is considered custom data so we can plan ahead and scale properly before we get too big. Fortunately we are no where near the 50gb limit as found using the subject area for custom data but it doesn't tell us other than 'System' where the custom data is coming from. I found documentation here:…
Is there a way to refresh our development environments in OAC with production data? Managers want the ability to assign delegates in Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) so that delegated users can access and use reports on their behalf. Is that available in FDI now? If yes, anyone share docs about steps to implement that in FDI Thanks
