RTF Layout Upload Freezes with “Uploading, Please Wait” Message When NordPass Browser Extension

Question

The issue is related to the NordPass browser extension installed via our corporate policy.

Issue observed: Users were unable to upload custom BI Publisher templates in Oracle Fusion (BI Publisher / Oracle Analytics) using Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. The upload dialog remained indefinitely at "Uploading, please wait...".

Findings from IT team:

* The issue occurs only on managed devices where the NordPass browser extension is installed.
* The issue does not occur on unmanaged devices without NordPass.
* Excluding the affected device from the NordPass extension policy immediately resolved the upload issue.
* The upload also works successfully in Firefox.
* Browser Developer Tools showed Content Security Policy (CSP) and permission-related errors during the upload process.
* Our IT team believes NordPass content-script injection is interfering with the Oracle upload dialog.

Anil, this is a public forum (not an Oracle internal one). Access to your SR is only available to a limited number of Oracle employees. If you want to raise that internally, you should have a number of channels for that.

Yes, we have raised SR: 4-0003482548 for the issue where Singapore users are unable to upload custom templates in BI.
