Fusion Data Intelligence : Asset DFFs in Maintenance Cloud subject areas

Hi Team

We are using SCM- Maintenance subject areas for reporting .

We enabled the Asset related DFFs (CSE_ASSETS_B) under Data Configuration successfully but the Asset DFFs are not reflecting under Descriptive Flexfield Folder .

We do not see any Asset folder even under the Descriptive Flexfield folder .

Please advise if it is feasible to use Asset DFFs in Maintenance subject areas  and possible customization options.

Thank you for the quick response.

The Asset DFFs have been successfully deployed, enabled, and are available in Fusion OTBI reporting. We published both the Work Order Header DFFs and Asset DFFs at the same time.

As expected, the Work Order DFFs are available for reporting under Descriptive Flexfields > Work Order subfolder. However, we do not see a corresponding Asset sub-folder under Descriptive Flexfields, and therefore are unable to use the activated Asset DFFs within the Maintenance subject areas.

We reviewed the Enable Feature settings to determine whether any Asset-specific configuration might be missing, but were unable to identify any relevant setup. We also received confirmation from the Oracle team that Asset data is not currently available in the out-of-the-box SCM Maintenance subject areas in FDI.

Our concern, however, is specifically related to Asset DFFs. The DFFs appear in Data Configuration, which suggests they are recognized by the platform, but the corresponding reporting placeholders are not available in the Maintenance subject areas.

Could you please confirm whether there is any additional setup required to expose Asset DFFs in the subject areas, or if Data Augmentation is currently the recommended approach for making Asset DFF data available for reporting in SCM-Maintenance subject areas?

If CSE_ASSETS_B was configured as the Asset DFF source, an Asset-related folder/attributes should become available after activation and data load. The documentation is here for

Possible causes could include:

The DFF was saved but not published/activated. Selecting attributes in Data Configuration alone does not load or expose them; the DFF application must be published and reach Active status.

The Fusion Asset DFF segments are not BI-enabled.
