FDI OAC - Production to Development Environment Refreshes

Question

Is there a way to refresh our development environments in OAC with production data? There a lot of developments that didn't make the cut into production and/or was only used for testing and we would like to clean up dashboards, datasets, data flows, etc…

Possibly similar to how receive environment refreshes in our Oracle HCM fusion and OTBI environments?

Hi @marcfromhawaii

Your best bet here would be to get a prod to test done to your source environment then do a data warehouse reset in your FDI environment which will effectively wipe everything and do a new full load with the latest data.

The other option would be to re-point your development FDI environment to production Fusion and then do the reset but I would avoid this as it could cause Fusion performance issues running multiple ETLs from the same instance.
