Many organizations currently rely on both Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) for reporting and analytics. While FDI continues to expand its subject area coverage, there are still several OTBI subject areas that are not yet available in FDI.
Could you please provide an update on:
- Whether Oracle plans to bring additional OTBI subject areas into FDI?
- Is there a published roadmap or timeline for the migration/enablement of OTBI subject areas in FDI?
- Are there specific functional areas (ERP, PPM, Procurement, SCM, HCM, etc.) that are currently being prioritized?
- Will Oracle eventually aim for feature parity between OTBI and FDI subject areas, or will some OTBI subject areas remain exclusively available in OTBI?
As many customers are investing heavily in FDI as their strategic analytics platform, greater visibility into the roadmap would help with reporting and data strategy planning.
