OAC ADW connection missing "Access" option

We are an FDI customer, OAC instance does not show "Access" option for Autonomous Transaction Processing DB type connections. This seems to happen after the latest patches. Also, other admin users cannot see the new connection that I created. Has anyone else noticed this issue in their environment?

I have not heard of an issue like this being caused by a FDI update. Try opening the connection under Data → Connections, use its Actions → Inspect menu, and record its type, owner, and Location. Confirm whether the missing option affects just this new connection or also an existing connection you own. If Access is absent on a newly saved connection owned by your user, collect screenshots of the Connections list and Inspect page, the OAC version and patch date, and a comparison with an older connection and log a SR.

Is “Access” missing only for ATP connections, or is it missing for other connection types as well? If the behaviour is isolated to ATP, that provides a stronger indication that the issue may be related to the ATP connection type or a recent product change/regression.

Below mentioned would be one of my preferred troubleshooting steps.

Take:

ATP Connection A

Created before the patch
Visible to multiple administrators

and compare it with:

ATP Connection B

Created after the patch
Not visible to other administrators

Compare:

Connection type
Connection properties
Owner
Permissions
Sharing configuration
Credential/authentication method
Database/service details
Any other metadata available through the UI

If the old and new connections behave differently despite having equivalent configuration, that is useful evidence for a potential post-patch regression

@PRATHEEK, thanks for the follow-up. The issue was on my side. The connection was getting created in my folder by default. Never paid attention to this. Once I created the connection in the shared folder, the access option shows up.
