Snowflake to Oracle DB Data Integration (OBIA 10.3 / ODI 12c Enviornment)

Hello Everyone,

We are currently running an OBIA 10.3 environment using ODI 12c. We need to extract legacy ERP data hosted on a Snowflake DB and load it into an on-premises Oracle DB.

However, we encountered connection issues during setup. Oracle documentation indicates that ODI 12c does not support native connectivity to Snowflake and recommends upgrading to ODI 14c. Unfortunately, ODI 14c is not supported in our current OBIA 10.3 environment, leaving us at a block.

Could you please advise on viable workarounds or alternative architecture approaches to migrate this data?

One approach I was thinking is using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Data Flow - setting Snowflake as the source and Oracle DB as the target to execute the data pipelines.

Please review this scenario and share your recommendations.
