Hi All,
Installation is completed for OBIA Apps 11.1.1.10.1g but i am unable to see the Administrator tool in the start-->allprograms-->OraclebusinessIntelligence.

Hi,
The admin tool is more supposed to be used on a client than on the server, so you can of course just install it on your workstation/laptop and connect to your server.
You can also check if you have the files installed and just the shortcuts are missing, in that case create the shortcuts yourself and done ...
Dear;
you can download the Client from BI Server as below:
Best regards,
Hi Gianni,
I am trying in Server M/C only not in client (windows M/C.)
In unable to see the Administrator Tool, Start,Stop all tools in the Start-->all programs-->oracle Business Intelligence.
It is a CLIENT tool ... you connect to your SERVER within the tool. If you want the CLIENT tool on the desktop of the SERVER, then you have to open the browser on the SERVER and download the CLIENT tool to the SERVER and install there ... this defeats the purpose of the CLIENT/SERVER aspect of these tools. Also, you then have local copies of the RPD on the SERVER - using your workstation (CLIENT) with a shared drive you now have local copies not on the SERVER (in case of disaster).

Did you actually look at the documentation on how to start the Admin Server (WLS) in windows? the Managed Server (EM) in Windows? or are you expecting to be handed a pile of 'pointy-clicky' icons? The latter isn't going to happen ... OBIA (Apps is different) ...
"Oracle BI Applications requires the BI and ODI Managed Servers (bi_server1 and odi_server1) to be started using Node Manager. This is required so that parameters, memory, and JVM arguments are appropriately set. If you do not start the BI and ODI Managed Servers, functionality loss and memory issues can occur in Configuration Manager, FSM, and ODI.
To ensure that the BI and ODI Managed Servers are started using Node Manager, start them using the WebLogic Administration Console user interface. Do not start the BI and ODI Managed Servers using the Managed Server start scripts."

https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/announcing-the-general-availability-of-oracle-analytics-server-2026 As announced, OAS 2026 has moved to FMW 14. What does this mean for the future of OBIA? Given that 103PS4 is for 12.2.1.4 , it would seem another required upgrade beyond 103ps4 will have to happen. What should customers…
