OBIEE 11.1.1.7 Server Migration

Hi All,
We currently have OBIEE 11g installed on Windows 2008 server.
Due to recent changes.. our servers will be decommissioned.. and we have to re install OBIEE again on new servers but in different domain. Where same IP can not be assigned to the servers.
So instead of reinstall we like to know if it is still possible to move Existing OBIEE setup along with Windows OS moved from one server to other server.
Thanks,
Chandra

Hello Chandra,
Is your OBIEE 11g movement going to be between same(Windows 2008) or different OS version?
See change of IP address is possible but its to much of effort and might cause multiple issues in the process which can lead to delay in setup of your environment, see below document.
OBIEE 11g: How To Bind Components / Ports To A Specific IP Address On Multiple Network Interface (NIC) Machines (Doc ID 1410233.1)
Above document is not direct solution for change of IP address but it gives an idea on IP related changes in configuration files.
Best approach would be do a fresh OBIEE 11g install and configuration on your new server and then patch the environment to your current OBIEE version then migrate RPD/Catalog and Security from your existing environment to newly setup environment.
Once migration is completed you would need to perform GUID Refresh in your newly setup environment to avoid breaking up your OBIEE content and security.
Above is my personal understanding other comments/correction are welcome.
Thanks and Regards,

Instead of going for Cloning,
We are going for fresh installation to avoid extra testing.
