OBIEE12C Creating a Repository

Question

I have already installed OBIEE12C in Linux, But I cannot create a repository in this operating system. Since I failed many times installing the OBIEE12C in Windows 2012, I cannot install the administration tool either.

If there any other ways, I could build a repository in OBIEE12C under Linux operating system?

If you are talking about the RPD it can be developed only with the Admin tool, and the Admin tool is a client tool for Windows only. It works on the main Windows OS desktop versions (7 to 10 if not wrong, maybe also some server version but for that I would suggest to check the certification matrix first).

When you then have a RPD you can deploy it from workstation/laptop where you developed it or from the server itself.
