Grand Total Issue in Pivot Table

Question

Hi,

The Grand Total column here is manually created by writing the formula (The 1 Total + The 1 CPN Total). I am using Pivot table for this report. Hence, arranged Layout as shown below and opted for aggregation as TOTALS AFTER.

My query is why the SUM for Grand Total column is not being populated? Please advise.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for sharing your inputs. I have had raised an SR and ended up listening that it is not possible. As we are trying to place a measure column in rows which will not give desired result .

Yes, that is correct. I overlooked that it is a pivot table, sorry. In pivot table, if you don't have the measure in Measure bucket then it is treated as attribute. If OBI thinks that it can do a group by then you will see 
 symbol. But for measure you will not see that.

Hi ArijitC,

I have the same problem.

I am using aggregation rule as 'SUM' for Grand total, but iam not getting the sum as i expected.I am using Pivote table and Grand Total column at row level.

As you suggested aggregation rule as 'SUM' it will work for normal table, not for pivote table.
